It wouldn't so much confuse things, especially after a viewer gains a lot of experience at viewing - but there would be - even on the subconscious level - a tendency to chose those targets which would match what the session results already say. The ideal way to select the targets after doing the session when working alone is to already have a large stockpile of targets made up ahead of time - maybe hide each one in a separate envelope - and then, >>after<< you do your session, go over to the box or drawer where you have those targets and pull the required number of targets out from the lot of them at random. Then judge your session according to how it matches the ones you drew out at random. That way, you are not creating the target pool for that session while already conscious of your session results.
